Your Lighting Could be Saving you Money
Home 9 Business Financials & Strategy 9 Your Lighting Could be Saving you Money

As Oregon manufacturers navigate the pandemic’s impact, many are keeping a close eye on overhead costs to maintain financial stability. And one of the best ways to control operating costs is to cut energy waste.

To help customers save money and reduce energy use, Energy Trust of Oregon is offering limited-time bonus incentives for qualifying lighting products and projects. Updating lighting is a great way to reduce energy costs and see an immediate return on investment.  A lighting project pays back quickly, saving on both energy and maintenance costs.

Bonus lighting incentives are available for the installation of:

  • High- and low-bay LEDs
  • Exterior LEDs
  • Decorative/Screw-in/PAR/Directional lamps
  • Interior LED fixtures
  • 4’ TLEDs with existing ballast removed or replaced

See the table with all updated incentive amounts here.

To qualify, customers must sign and submit an Energy Trust incentive agreement, complete their lighting project and submit all required documentation by December 1, 2020.

Qualifying custom lighting projects are also eligible for a bonus. Energy Trust may pay up to 50% of the total eligible measure costs, not to exceed $0.25/annual kWh saved. Custom lighting projects must be reviewed and pre-approved by Energy Trust.
