Prior to her role as Senior Consultant for OMEP’s Springfield / Eugene region, Michelle Knepel was a Manufacturing Consultant Manager in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. She has nine years of experience planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources used in manufacturing. Prior to consulting, she led high-performance teams in both union and non-union environments in the automotive, FMCG and furniture sectors. Michelle is Green Belt Certified and well versed in Six Sigma tools including Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, root cause identification and continuous improvement.
