Established in 1977, Schooner Creek Boat Works grew from a group of dedicated craftspeople building wooden sailboats to become recognized as one of the finest re-fit and repair boatyards in the nation as well as building large commercial and recreational boats. Currently, they are building 65’ catamarans for the commercial charter market and are consistently very busy with their refit and repair boatyard. Additionally, they offer repairs on lifeboats of ships in the commercial dry dock in Portland.
Their facility is located on the main channel of the Columbia River, Hayden Island in Portland Oregon with a facility containing multiple service bays, an indoor paint booth, and an outdoor service yard capable of housing dozens of vessels. Their workspace also includes two travel lifts, several floating service slips, and a floating dry dock.
