Chartered by the Oregon Department of Education, SkillsUSA is a national student organization that serves students enrolled in career and technical education training programs in public high schools and colleges. Although SkillsUSA has an identifiable brand to employers and industries across the nation, in Oregon, SkillsUSA is known more as a competitive event organization than a student leadership organization. This is due in part to the absence of Oregon industry and business representatives who would provide guidance for the local organization that more closely reflects its mission.

SkillsUSA Oregon is always looking for industry partners to:

  • Participate on the Board of Champions (Board of Trustees)
  • Attend events sponsored by SkillsUSA Oregon
  • Assist in judging competitions
