Home 9 Manufacturing Operations 9 Manufacturing Matters Oregon – Season 2 of the Podcast

OMEP is pleased to announce the second season of our new collaborative podcast, Manufacturing Matters Oregon. Hosted by our very own Linda Wechsler,  this podcast is dedicated to telling the stories of Northwest manufacturers.

USiA and KAM Apparel

Episode one of our second season features an interview with USiA, a veteran-owned manufacturing company, and Kichnata Apparel, known as KAM. Our interviewees Tripp Haen and Bill Amos pivoted to create Personal Protective Equipment during the pandemic. In this episode, we discuss the challenges they’ve faced, how they’ve succeeded, and what they’ve learned.

Milller Paint Company

In our second episode, Host Linda Wechsler sits down with Steve Serra and Puji Sherer from Miller Paint Company to learn how the northwest born, 130-year-old company continues to grow. You can read more about how Miller Paint is keeping employees safe throughout Covid-19, here.

We’re looking forward to featuring two more episodes this season – details coming soon!
