Oregon Manufacturing Day is October 7th!
What started as a simple salute to manufacturers four years ago has become one of the most influential international events of the year. Across the nation over 2,000 manufacturers will open their doors to students and introduce them to exciting new career options. This understanding of manufacturing careers couldn’t be more crucial. Studies show that those familiar with manufacturing are two times as likely to encourage a child to pursue manufacturing. If we are to fill the skills gap we must continue on this trajectory.
